Research Title: Analyzing free molecular visualization software Abstract: I am researching 9 different free molecular visualization software offered over the internet. I have created a database using MySQL in which I describe the strengths and shortcomings of each program in several categories including internet requirements, menu simplicity, creating views, preset views, users guide and tutorials. I am then using that information to create a table rating system in which I describe each program by category. I intend to make this information readily available to all who seek this information in an easy to use and searchable web-format. Research Mentor: Professor Paul Craig |
