After a busy week filled with classes, homework, and tests, you need a mental relaxation. On Thursday nights, the College Activities Board (CAB) puts on an event called Thursday Night Cinema.  At this event, students can attend a free showing of a movie here on the RIT campus.

Last Night, CAB had a viewing for Mean Girls.  If you ask any teenage girl about the movie, she can probably mention various quotes from the motion picture.  I attended the movie with some of my sisters from my sorority.  I thought the movie would just have a bunch of girls sitting in the theater quoting every scene.  But I was wrong.  There were guys attending Mean Girls who could quote the entire movie just like a bunch of sorority girls.

Here at RIT, CAB puts on many events for the students.  Not only do they put on the Thursday Night Cinema, but they hold major concert events such as Girl Talk, 50 Cent, Jack’s Mannequin, and Bens Fold. Maroon 5 is also coming later this quarter.   CAB has brought Comedians such as Jimmy Fallon and Jim Gaffigan here to RIT during our Brick City Homecoming.

If you missed out on Mean Girls, I recommend obtaining a copy and watching it.  Mean Girls is so fetch, and a definite classic among themean_girls.jpgcab.jpg teen population.
