I know that it has been a while since I last posted, but I have been ridiculously busy with a bunch of things going on. Part of that was the fact that I have been on co-op for the last 6 months. Well I only think that it is appropriate that since I have been gone on co-op so long, I should talk about co-ops…..Not the one that I was just on, but the one that I am hoping to go on!

To give you a little bit of a background, I am only planning on attending classes for Fall quarter this year. I am hoping to go on co-op during Winter, Spring and Summer quarters. I don’t know if they will be 3 month or 6 month blocks, so I am just seeing what is available and I will take what I can get.

So this past Wednesday (September 30), there was a career fair at RIT. There were over 150 companies that came to try and recruit students and alumni for co-ops and/or full time jobs. It is really a great opportunity to talk with some companies and try to get interviews. I was actually able to get 3 interviews lined up over the next week! I had two of them earlier today. They were with Microsoft and Blackbaud….. and I think they went AWESOMELY!!!

I have another interview lined up at Innovative Solutions in Rochester this Tuesday. I hope that one goes well too!!!

Well stay tuned to see how that one goes, and also to find out what my co-op future holds!
